This is the worst razor I have ever used. I would not recommend this for any price. Like others I used it several times hoping it would get better but it doesn’t only gets worse.

Well I also left Gilette behind after their condescending message from 2018. I then began purchasing Shick Hydro 5 which are great razors. I came across this Amazon product and decided to give it a try. One week has passed with one of the razors and I am impressed.I'm no Paul Bunyan, but I have moderate hair growth and thickness. I am shaving my head as well as my face. For several years I have been shaving in the shower with hot water which will open your pores up....making for an easier shave and I believe it extends blade longevity.If you have a 3 year beard and just start hacking away at it with these Amazon razors maybe you wouldn't be as impressed.In summary: No these are not as sharp as Gillette heads, they are almost as sharp as Shick. Id say they are about 85% as good as the mach 3 blades. At 70% cheaper its a no-brainer for me. Give them a shot!

The basic shave was OK, a bit uneven & inconsistent, not as close as I'd prefer ... but OK for an inexpensive cartridge. The lubricating strips seemed almost too eager, leaving behind a goopy residue. Switching cartridges was harder than any other blade system I've used — and, just to add to the fun, the only blade instructions were *entirely hidden* under the adhesive Amazon shipping label that covered one side of the box.But the precision trimmer was the deal-killer: By far the worst in my experience, uncomfortable and ineffective. Sandpaper would be easier on the face.On the bright side, Amazon promptly refunded my purchase price after a brief phone call. I'm just sorry that was necessary: I had high hopes for the Solimo blades, but they don't make the grade.

I have been shaving with a Gillette razor for 40 years, now I am retired and living in fixed income. Looking to cut expenses, this razor is comfortable to hold and use, shaves just as close and is less expensive. I have tried 3 others in the past months, this one is a winner.

Sorry it took so long to review this product. I was finishing using my previous razor and blades. Finally opened this morning. Excellent well made handle. Looks more expensive then the price. Certainly nicer then my previous one. Very good shave. Again this was my first use of it. Extremely happy with this purchased.

Remember that toy razor you might have received as a kid so you could shave like Dad? This razor is that toy razor! If you have more testosterone than estrogen coursing through your endocrine system, avoid this product. The poor performance of this product is shocking. Everything about the design of the blades is wrong. The precision trimmer is literally a no-show. To make matters worse, although the return date for this item is seven months from delivery date, my return request was denied. Very disappointed in Amazon on this one.

DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU OWN GILLETTE RAZOR. IT IS JUST WASTE OF MONEY. THE SHAVE IS NOT CLOSE ENOUGH. RAZORS ARE NOT SHARP ENOUGH. IT TOOK ME TWICE MORE TIME TO SHAVE TO GET CLOSE RESULT TO GILLETTE BUT STILL RESULTS ARE NOT THE SAME. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Yep, I tried this blade and not as good. The under the nose blade does not work as well as the Gillette brand. And the blades are not as sharp. Left a little razor burn above the upper lip. I sure wish they worked as well. Hate paying the amount for the Gillettes. A nice handle on the razor and plenty of lubricate on the strip.

I hate women's razors, not sharp enough, dull quickly and they irritate my skin, this razor is AMAZING. It really glides and makes my skin the smoothest it's been with a razor in a long time, loving this razor and the sturdiness is unmatched, better than the men's gillette 5 blade razors. I have sensitive skin. This product was fine for shaving the first few uses. If you’re a frequent blade changer it may not be a problem, but after about a week, however, it caused razor burn. I purchased as a less expensive alternative to Schick Hydro 5 but won’t buy again. It’s worth a few extra dollars to not get razor burn.
